Great for anyone who wants to feel good within their body, move well and feel strong throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Most people don’t even know this type of therapy exists! So you’re definitely ahead of the game! Pelvic floor physical therapy can help prepare for birth, rehab after birth or address any issues “down there” through hands-on body work, neuromuscular reprogramming and activity specific strength training.

Dr. Lauren and Dr. Julieann have you covered for issues such as:

  • Pregnancy comfort & exercise 
  • Birth Prep
  • Postpartum rehab & exercise
  • Diastasis Recti/Core strength
  • Scar tissue mobilization
  • Urinary or fecal leaking
  • Prolapse
  • Pelvic pain
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Back, hip, neck or any other musculoskeletal pain

This gift includes 2 virtual sessions, 45 minutes each. The first session can include an assessment of your body mechanics, pelvic floor and core function, mobility, strength and posture. Any time left over will be used for education, neuromuscular retraining and exercise. The second session will be all down to business, with more education, neuromuscular retraining and exercise.

Dr. Lauren and Dr. Linda are the perinatal and pelvic floor physical therapists at THRIVE Physical Therapy in San Diego. Dr. Lauren founded THRIVE physical therapy with her husband 5 years ago and works primarily with active women who are pregnant, postpartum or neither. Dr. Linda is a life-long athlete and also a Lagree fitness method coach so has a deep understanding of how incredible the human body truly is. They both use a full body approach with all of their treatments; including a complete movement assessment, biomechanics analysis, manual body work, neuromuscular re-education and exercise in order to help you heal and function at your best!
