About Caring for Mama
I started Caring for Mama to deliver love and care to moms when they need it most like when I needed it postpartum with my daughters. It’s my way of saying to moms, “I see you, I care about you, and I want you to take the time to care for yourself because your needs matter, you matter.” I’m sourcing unique, organic and nourishing products from women-owned businesses and curating them into boxes that are ready-to-go gifts for any mom. As maternal mental health in the US has hit a crisis point, my goal is to help shift our culture’s narrative around self-care. That it’s not selfish, it’s a necessity. And that we’re allowed to take time for ourselves, that it’s not just a nice thing to do, but something we need to do in order to fully show up for ourselves and our families, in our lives. I come to this business with nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, so I’m putting my experience and expertise to work for something I care deeply about because it’s personal — for me and all mamas.
